QUALITY ASSURANCE
Linn County Developmental Disabilities Program is committed to providing quality services to the consumers in Linn County. We regularly review services provided by both the county itself as well as contracted providers within the community. An annual Quality Assurance Plan outlines the proposed schedule of qualitative reviews for the year in order to ensure that the Center for Medicaid Services standards are being met or exceeded. This plan also addresses special areas for quality improvement to which the county is devoted.
A Quality Assurance Advisory Committee reviews quality assurance tools, practices, and outcomes, as well as makes recommendations to the program. Members include representatives from providing 24-hour residential agencies, adult foster homes, vocational/alternatives to employment agencies, brokerages, as well as advocates and self-advocates.
