Health Administration
Health Administration is responsible for overseeing the administrative and operational needs of the various programs within the Linn County Department of Health Services.
These responsibilities include:
- Health planning
- Resource development
- Contract negotiation and management
- Budget development
- Program oversight
Health Services Funding Sources
Department funds come from:
- State of Oregon
- Linn County
- Client fees
- Client medical insurance plans, including the Oregon Health Plan
Health Services Staff
All programs have licensed and trained professional staff, who meet all national and state certifications required for their work.
Health Services Access
Most services are provided by appointment, but some programs offer drop-in service and emergency care.

Health Services Fee Structure
The Board of Commissioners for Linn County establishes department fees. Most client fees are on a sliding scale based on household income. No one is denied service because of an inability to pay. Most programs will bill the Oregon Health Plan, Medicaid, or private medical insurance.
