Supervising Mental Health Specialist (LCDHS classification 774)
This is a supervisory community mental health position to oversee the program’s continuous quality improvement process. Supervisor will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. This position is responsible for utilization management, medical record reviews, HIPAA compliance monitoring, and adherence to State OAR’s, Medicaid fraud and abuse investigation, evidenced based practice fidelity monitoring and the consumer complaint process. In addition, this position provides consultation to program management regarding implementation of various improvement initiatives. Must be skilled in community mental health service delivery including: assessment, engagement, case management, individual and group psychotherapy; embrace the philosophy of resiliency and recovery; and community consultation. Assigned responsibilities: provide direction, advice and consult on complex clinical and administrative problems, interpretations of laws and regulations, participate in the selection of new personnel, conduct performance evaluations, provide evidenced based practice training, medical record audits, fidelity monitoring and resolve grievance.
