Communicable Diseases
Overview
All Oregon clinicians and labs are required by law to report certain diseases and conditions to local health departments. Reporting enables public health to do follow up surveillance, notify contacts and identify actual or potential disease outbreaks.

Tuberculosis
Public Health nurses do tuberculin skin testing (TST) for those who are uninsured or cannot afford the test or do not have a provider.
All cases of TB disease are monitored through case management. For more information on TB visit the DHS TB Control Program Site.
HIV Counseling and Testing
Linn County takes appointments to offer HIV Counseling and Testing for HIV in Albany, Lebanon and Sweet Home. Call 1-800-304-7468.
Ryan White Care Act Advocacy Program
