Healthy Start
Healthy Start of Linn County is a free program to provide information and support to families having their first baby. A family support worker who listens comes to your home during pregnancy and/or after the birth of your first baby. Your home visitor will give you tips on relieving stress, what to expect about your baby's normal development, and ideas on activities to help your baby grow. They can help you with childcare, health and medical care, housing, food, transportation, parent groups and much more.
Services are free and available to Linn County families who are pregnant with their first baby, have given birth to their first baby or are experiencing parenting for the first time.
