Sale Data - CSV Format
NOTICE:
After many years we are altering our format for Database download files.
The old format (dbf) is no longer widely supported. Therfore we will be
providing sales information in Comma Seperated Value (csv)
format. These csv files contain only data and, in the first row, column
header names. CSV files may be opened in Excel or used
in database applications.
In
addition the data stored has been changed to match data
retrievable from our new assessment system. As creating the data files is
time consuming the older files are still in dbf, but soon all will be
provided in csv format. At this time you will find data descriptions
for both dbf and csv files below.

Year Files

Calendar Year
Sale Data File

The
"Sale Data" file contains data on sales occurring in that
calendar period. A full years worth of data is about 1 meg. These files
are in dbase format (.dbf).

Supplementary File
|
The
"Supplementary" files for each calendar period include all
accounts for each sale. They may be joined to the sale data file for the
same calendar period based on the common field "MFNum". Many
users will find these supplemental files are unnecessary.

Use
|
After
downloading, these files may be opened by most database or spreadsheet
programs. Use the search, sort and report capabilities of your
application to manipulate the data. You may want to combine more than one
years sales into a common file. This will simplify your searches.
