Important Dates

Filing Deadlines:

March 9, 2010 – Candidate Filing Deadline
March 18, 2010 – Measure Filing Deadline

Voter Registration:
April 27, 2010 is the deadline for new voter registration.  This applies only to individuals that have not been registered to vote in the State of Oregon.

April 27, 2010 is also the deadline for changes to party affiliation.

Registered voters that moved without updating their voter registration have until 8:00 PM May 18, 2010 to update, receive a ballot, and vote.  This includes individuals that have moved to Linn County from another Oregon County.

Ballots Mailed:
April 3, 2010 - Mail out long term & military ballots
April 19, 2010 - First day to mail out-of-state ballots
April 30, 2010 - First day to mail local ballots

March 11, 2010 – County Voters’ Pamphlet Filing Deadline (Candidates)
March 22, 2010 – County Voters’ Pamphlet Filing Deadline (Measure Arguments)
