Park News & Seasonal Closures

Effective November 5th, 2009 Gedney Creek County Boat Ramp and Calkins County Boat Ramp are now closed for the winter.

Thistle Creek Boat ramp is still open and operational for boat launching.

Events calendar for Sweet Home

River Bend County Park, on the South Santiam River, east of Sweet Home and Waterloo County Park, located on the South Santiam River, upstream from the City of Waterloo, are open year round. Clear Lake Resort cabins are open year round for winter use.

Lewis Creek County Park Opens Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Whitcomb Creek County Park Opens April 16, 2010.

John Neal Memorial County Park Opens March 19th, 2010.

Sunnyside County Park Campground Will open Open March 19th, 2010.

Sunnyside day use and boat Ramp is open all year.

Calkins and Gedney County Boat Ramps are currently now closed due to low water levels.
