Description: Fishing, floating and rafting on the wild waters of the North Santiam River are the main attractions for visitors to this 30-acre park. While camping or enjoying a picnic at John Neal, visitors can search for the park's abundant wildlife on trails that wind through wetlands and beaver ponds. Explore, fish, and raft the Santiam River and enjoy early spring or fall camping while enjoying the quiet atmosphere and wildlife.

Campsites are reservable. Sites that have not been reserved will be first-come, first-serve.
Rates
are based on up to 8 guests per site.
3-night
minimum for Memorial Day & Labor Day.
Cancellations
are subject to an $11 non-refundable reservation fee.
Cancellations
must be made at least 10 days prior to your arrival.
Group Designated Camping Area has a $50 non-refundable reservation fee plus all camping fees

Hiking Trails
At John Neal County Park visitors can search for the park's abundant wildlife on trails that wind through wetlands and beaver bonds.

Boat Ramp
Great water access to the North Santiam River is offered on this easily accessible boat ramp. The ramp is long with a gentle slope allowing for an easy launch and retrieval.
Camping
Campsites, set back off the roads, are available with and without
hookups. Cleared areas are perfect for tent camping too. Picnic tables
and fire pits are also available at all campsites.

Group Camping
Perfect for family reunions, community groups and large get-togethers. Group camping areas are designated for groups up to 100 people and include built-in buffet tables, fire pits, picnic tables and cleared areas.

Group Shelter
In addition to a designated group camping area, the shelter is available
for day use.
Please note that special-use permits request form are required for dunk tanks, bounce castles and inflatable slides.

Playground
John Neal County Park is great for all ages. Bring the entire family
for day-use events like birthday parties and family get-togethers.
The playground makes a perfect activity for kids during a family camping
adventure.
