Law Library Advisory Committee

The Linn County Law Library is supported and governed by the Linn County Law Library (LCLL) Advisory Committee. The purpose of the LCLL Advisory Committee shall be to ensure that the Linn County Law Library is operated efficiently for the benefit of attorneys, self–help litigants, courts, and the general public of Linn County, Oregon.

The Linn County Law Library is dedicated to providing legal research materials to members of the bar and the community at large. The Law Library delivers value to our citizens through books, online services, and other resources needed to perform legal research.

This Web site is offered to you, the (“User”), conditioned on acceptance of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein, without modification. User access and use of this site constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions.

This is a Linn County computer system, provided as a public service. Government personnel and the general public may use this system to review and retrieve publicly available government information. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. Use of this Web site is unauthorized in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of these terms and conditions, including without limitation this paragraph.

Linn County’s performance of this Agreement is subject to existing laws and legal processes and nothing contained in this Agreement is in derogation of the County’s right to comply with law enforcement requests or requirements relating to the User’s use of this Web site or information provided to or gathered by Linn County concerning such use.

Severability

If any part of this Agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable according to applicable laws then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of the Agreement shall continue in effect.

Closing of Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the User and Linn County concerning this Web site. This Agreement shall be deemed to include all other notices, policies, disclaimers, and other terms contained in this Web site. A printed version of this Agreement and any notice given in electronic form will be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings based upon this Agreement to the same extent and conditions as other business documents and records originally generated and maintained in printed form.
